The plan last year was a one time event. But I’d be lying if I told you it was anything less than an incredible experience. Now, here we are not quite a year later, and I can’t think of a better way to kick off the summer of 2021 than an epic adventure up north with a few crazy friends. One week from today begins the SECOND running of the #TridgeToBridge240! It’s happening much earlier in the year this time, and that means a few more challenges; shorter days, colder nights, and less predictable weather. But then again, no one said this would be an easy journey, and with those challenges come rewards. Not in the way of a ribbons or medals, but rather in memories that will last a lifetime.
This year’s race begins at 7am on Tuesday May 25 from the Tridge in Midland. Just like last year, runners will check in twice each day (7am and 7pm) with their mileage, and I’m sure there’ll be many posts made to the Facebook group with updates along the way as well. As always I’ll have my tracker with me, so if you’re interested, you can follow my progress at tracking.mattsstupidideas.com. And I’ll do my best to share some of those memories to my #StupidIdeas page as I go. After all, nothing makes a #StupidIdea better than sharing it with friends.
