Last September, after three failed attempts, I finally finished the Marji Gesick 100 Mile Run on my fourth try. This year, I’m honored to say that I’ll be one of 8 people invited to take on the first ever running of the #MarjiGesick200.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 8am, we’ll head out from Ishpeming with the goal of covering the entire point to point course in reverse, before turning immediately around and running it the proper direction once again.

I am blessed this year to be in the excellent hands of three very good friends – Sean Cumming, Tim Nelson, & Brandon Kern – who have been kind enough come and spend the next 4 days or so doing all they can to get me across the finish line once again.

I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to finish, but I believe that I can, and that’s all the more reason to try ❤️

p.s. Unfortunately, given the challenges of signal and terrain in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I won’t be able to post any updates during this event. There will be live satellite tracking however, and I’ll try to update this post with a link as soon as that’s available!
