Wednesday morning I set out on a journey I honestly didn’t know if I could finish. I had no idea how hard it would actually turn out to be.
Its very difficult for me sometimes to try to put into words a summary of these adventures. There’s all kinds of stats available to quote; distances, times, and changes in elevation. But being able to claim I’ve conquered these quantifiable benchmarks have little to do with my taking them on. It’s knowing that even when you find yourself in a very dark place, overwhelmed with all you’ve been dealt….. you have to keep going. And you can.
